T1 Energy makes solar hardware, and the sector's default is a clean sky and a lens flare. We went the other way and treated the components as industrial product. Panels shot from extreme angles until they read as architecture. Storage racks split between their housings and the ghosted cell structure inside. Silicon wafers and anti-reflective coatings rendered in the monochrome of electron microscopy, so the physics of the thing becomes visible. One frame sits the panels in an arid landscape to give the rest a sense of scale. Everything else stays at the level of the material.
